I want to torment my wonderful partner less, which is why I started using nostr as an outlet for my 'stream of consciousness' (I think this is an incorrect phrase, but I want to 'save time' (I think this is an incorrect phrase...)).

I've also read several times that nostr is dead (just like Bitcoin). It lacks content and interactions. So I thought to myself: "You want content?" You shall get content. Nobody has said anything about the quality.

P.S. What Paul says about Peter tells us more about Paul than about Peter.

P.P.S. This is also the reason why I will continue to buy Bitcoin (I think this is an incorrect...)

I could well imagine nostr developing in parallel with Bitcoin adoption. The prerequisites for both are similar. It takes a long time in the beginning, and it's mostly enthusiasts. Over time, new users join in batches, some of whom quit after a short time. But in the long run, it develops steadily and well.

I enjoy zapping a lot! I remember the feeling when I first received 21 sats. It felt good. Still does. So I want to give that feeling to other people. And today 21 sats is about 2 cents. In real life I wouldn't even pick up such a coin. Besides: I'm a millionaire 😎

I just tried linking my 'primal' wallet with the web client 'nostrudel'. To do this, I opened 'settings -> wallet' in 'primal' and selected 'create a new wallet connection'. Then I chose a name for it and clicked 'create wallet connection'. Next, I received a QR code and a long string as a link. There, I clicked 'Copy NWC String' and pasted this string into 'nostrudel' 'settings -> lightning'. That's it!

Now I can send zaps from my 'primal' wallet directly from 'nostrudel'. Simply great!

I assume it works similarly in other clients. It works very well, but you have to confirm twice after clicking 'zap'. So, doing it directly in 'primal' is still the most convenient. Still, it's easier than opening a QR code each time, picking up your phone, opening your wallet, and making an LN transaction.

I have a new idea for the term 'flippening':

The moment when you'd rather spend your time on nostr than on X-Twitter. Once the flippening happens, the time you spend on X-Twitter decreases dramatically, and vice versa.

Many months ago, I read a few posts on nostr that sounded something like this: "I spend a lot more time on nostr. X-Twitter is horrible. It's much more lively and beautiful here!"
Back then, I spent even more time on Twitter because I was fed more interesting content there.
In recent months, however, I've actively and consciously spent more and more time on nostr. I uploaded almost no content to Twitter because it's a centralized platform, I don't want to pay for it, and my content, i.e., my work there, is essentially dependent on a third party.
On nostr, I first had to learn that I am the content. On the one hand, I had to cut through the "barbed wire in my head" so that I could learn to express myself freely again. And then I had to learn to take action myself.

Bitcoin and nostr teach you self-responsibility. And how wonderful is that?! I've only experienced this euphoria with Bitcoin and the early internet. Many thanks to everyone who made this possible and continues to work on making it better for everyone!

I think I understood PV for the first time today.

People are awesome!
